Topurile sint artificiale, cliseistice, facute la comanda, distorsioneaza, dar in final scopul lor este de a distra. The 50 worst movies ever made face tocmai acest lucru. Ordinea in care se succeda filmele in top pare una aleatoare, neexistand sentimentul unui crescendo de la filme proaste la calamitati ale ecranului.

Pentru cele mai multe numele filmului spune totul, de la They saved Hitler's brain si The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy, pana la Frankenstein conquers the world  si chiar Santa Claus conquers the martians. Sint si cateva mainstream care au dat-o in bara  (Ishtar; Xanadu) si altele pur si simplu incredibil de ciudate - Crippled masters.

Una peste alta nimc special, doar o colectie de secvente care sa te bine dispuna timp de o ora cu ce le-a trecut prin minte unora care spun ca au de a face cu cinematograful. Am fost dezamagit de faptul ca au pus pe primul loc un film doar pentru numele lui: The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?. Daca e dupa nume eu as avea alta propunere: Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D  iar daca vreti cu adevarat sa vedeti ceea ce este probabil cel mai prost film din istorie va recomand Manos the hands of fate

Partea cea mai distractiva este sa vezi cum oamenii se straduiau sa faca filme de groaza, dar reuseau doar sa faca ceva... groaznic. The killer shrews e un exemplu excelent: au imbracat niste caini in niste costume ieftine si au spus ca de fapt sint scorpii - rezultatul in vedeti in imaginea de mai jos. 

       

 Intre cele 50 de filme o exceptie iese in evidenta: Spider baby, care nu are ce cauta langa celelalte
